Great content! Well paced. Videos and readings are helpful. The class concludes with a 4 week challenge designed to make a lasting impact, which I found very insightful. I highly recommend this class.

This course has the power enough to change the course of your life. It can be a journey from misery to well being, if you follow the instructions given in this program. A must must must attend course.

This course was more than just lectures about theories of what can make you "happy" according to science/scientific research, toward the end of the course, you will have to do the 4 weeks rewirement program which will really help you build some of the new habits you have been wanting to have them stick around but never managed to for a long time. Give it a go, it's very informative and highly practical, and engaging.

Taking this course has definitely increased my sense of well being. I learned ways to increase my happiness like savoring, gratitude, social connection, meditation, WOOP. The four week rewirement challenge has helped me to integrate exercising into my daily lifestyle. I feel myself more cheerful, healthy, and fulfilled. I am grateful for having completed this course, thank You Dr. Laurie Santos, Yale and Coursea.

With a core strength of life long learning, I really enjoyed the science behind the practices. As a nurse, I was aware of many of the keys to success and health, like mindfulness, exercise, and sleep. And I picked up many new skills, like savoring and gratitude and WOOP. So I am working on hard-wiring the re-wiring. Many thanks for making the class available.

Now I can say I went to Yale. Where do I get the T-shirt?

This course has been an exhilarating journey of discovery and practice. It has been an exploration as well as a step towards becoming healthier and happier. As a student of psychology, I savoured the rich insights thrown up by science, whereas as a student of life, I put my mind to rewiring certain habits in my life to practice wellbeing on an on-going basis. The course totally lived up to its name and expectations!

This is the best course that I have taken about the Science of Well-Being. I previously took the Positive Psychology course from the University of Pennsylvania, which was excellent. However, Professor Laurie Santos is a great communicator making complex information easy to understand to even people that don't have a Psychology degree. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn more about happiness.

The use of psychology and specific wellness activities is a very practical way to increase happiness and fulfillment in life. The course shares the workings of wh society wants things that make them less happy and uses this to drive the point home - that happines is about wanting the right things. The course was well structured and well paced, with multiple forms of media contributing to a more engaging curriculum.

This is one of the online courses I ever did. It has great research to back the subjects and it is very well balanced, so it's very easy to go through the course. Plus, I'm the evidence the course really works. It took me from a low moment in life and got me 8 weeks after to a point where I am more positive, I do more sport, I enjoy the food more often and I take myself less seriously. Hope you'll give it a chance!

This is an excellent course on several fronts. The content is fascinating and well presented. The lectures are well produced. The quizzes were useful reminders of just covered material. But the best part is the project. As the course says 'knowing is not half the battle'. Just knowing what we need to do to be happier is not enough. We have to put it in operation and the second half of the course is all about that.

I really liked the course. It really helped me to rewire, eventhough I already started on my own. This was just the extra push I needed.

I enjoyed the lectures and I think Professor Santos is amazing. She explained everything so well, but also made it fun. This was motivating me to continue and finish this course.

I would highly recommend this course to any other person. Whether you feel unhappy or not. Just do it!

Thank you for making this course available for free for everyone! This course has all the tools you need to find happiness, whatever that looks like for you. The instructor is engaging, and the material is interesting and applicable to daily life. As an online course, you will get out of it what you put into it. I didn't think I was going to love this course, but took it to see what all the fuss was about. I'm a generally happy person who already had regular practices of exercise, meditation and gratitude so I thought I "knew it all" already. I was wrong. I especially found the suggested readings on the Science of Happiness interesting. I highly recommend this to anyone - even if you already think you're happy enough! :D

It´s very important, maybe the most important thing in life, to be happy, enojoy and feel grateful. In this course you have the posibility to learn how to do this correctly thanks to scientists that make studies about well-being. I loved to review all these practices and to get all these additional insights and readings. I've been interested in health and food, yoga, meditation and mindfulness for the last decade and here it all came together and I learned new things. I love the combination of theory and practice, that works very well for me. The Covid period and the lockdown was perfect timing to freshen up some of the topics. Thank you!

Great course. Concisely but precisely Professor Lorie Santos guided us through relevant researches and studies to make points about misconceptions about happiness, useful techniques to build habits to practicing behaviors that actually lead to happiness with scientific results. The tempo of the course was good, and interjected interviews with other psychology professors were intriguing too. Highly recommend it.

A Fantastic Course! It was chock full of learning opportunities and my happiness scores at the end of the course provides the proof, with a 13% increase for Perma and a 9% increase for "The Authentic Happiness." What a great course, especially during an unusual and challenging period like a pandemic. This course had a very positive (and hopefully lasting) impact on my happiness and well-being. I feel much more equipped now to understand what pitfalls exist to living a happy and fulfilling life, as well as having tools to avoid and overcome those obstacles. This has been very helpful. Some of the studies I'd heard before, but it's all put together in a very applicable way. I'm going through some major life changes and I'm really trying to incorporate several of these tactics into my routines and thoughts (meditation, gratitude, kindness, connections, growth mindset, Woop, strengths, and resetting my reference points). It's a lot to keep in mind!

It was very much enlightening. For someone who was in active search for happiness and well-being and had spent much time reading a lot of self-help books, the course offered me the consolidated version of all self-help books. And the best part is, everything was backed by research and science. Not only that, it really nudge me to act on what we have learned through the rewirement challenge. It was a huge help!

Lauren was amazing! This course was super helpful to me, especially during the COVID pandemic! I've been stuck at home since March 2020, and was able to work on myself through this course. The meditation part has been a huge help for me. I loved listening to all the talks, and doing the projects. I even recommended this course for my neighbor's daughter, who has severe anxiety and depression. Thank you!

This is a fantastic course for anyone wanting to rezone their approach to life and explore a new way of looking at things. I had some downtime due to COVID-19 and decided to try this course out. While the course itself is 'easy' - in terms of the watching videos etc, the challenge came from using the time to stick to the rewirement process of well-being and finding happiness. Definitely a course worth doing.

I have been reading about happiness and well being for years. This is the first time that there is some much evidence based info that it was making me jump of joy. I love science and will believe anything if there is evidence. I also like the fact that Laurie turns the knowledge into habits that will make the difference. I will modify my learnings from Laurie's course to suite my own life the best. Thank You.
