This is a terrific class that really gave me the tools to live a better life. Professor Laurie Santos is delightful in her video lectures. The skills that were taught were extremely valuable; I have been and will continue to use her rewirement activity to live a happier and healthier life. I am very happy that I came across this course, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to better themselves.

Thank you for this course in teaching the effects of having behavioral strengths and weaknesses and knowing how to change habits by using strategies and techniques written and studied by others. To also learn betterment with sleep disorders, happiness struggles, and finding solutions to difficult circumstances using Emotional Scientist methods with ourselves as well as to help our families and friends.

I found the tools very simple, but a challenge to put them into everyday life. It was really helpful in how I view things, and how I manage different stresses, and showing empathy for others. Overall, I believe that everyone should take this course to re centre themselves, and be reminded of the things that truly make us happy. It was such an added bonus that this course was offered for free.

Amazing class. With all the stress life brings the class reminds me to focus on the things that are important and what really makes us happy. We are entitled to self-care and focusing on that allows us to take care of others and be more present in our daily lives. Particularly in the days of the pandemic we all need to reminded of what is important and to be grateful and happy for each day that we have.

Overall, this experience has been exceptional in its ability to introduce different aspects into my daily life that can contribute to happiness being a skill. It has also helped me to think about investing into experiences more and remove the desire to want material things. I will be utilizing content in this class for years to come to help myself, my family, and others that are influenced by my life.

It has been great!!! It really changes your perspective and contributes for your happiness, Dr. Santos has this unique way to talk about science and facts that makes you feel part of the reflections.

Wonderful course, loved it. It is a great reminder for us all to enjoy little things in life. Not be part of the rat race. GO easy and do what you love to do. Use your core strengths and be grateful. Important thing for us to remember is : it is not the stuff and good body, fame etc that makes us happy, it is the experiences that define our happiness. Spend your money in experiences rather than stuff.

This course is by far one of the best courses that I have ever taken, and the best online course ever. I learned too many life skills to list here, but in a nutshell, Dr. Laurie Santos comes across as a genius psychologist, an excellent teacher, but most of all, a good friend looking out for you. I totally recommend taking this class...you'll be a different person at the end, and will be happy you did.

This course exceeded all of my expectations. Dr. Santos enthusiastically and with tremendous knowledge about The Science of Well Being shared her own views, those of industry experts, and scientific research to present a compelling case starting with what you think will make you happy won't, here's why, and what will. The class was engaging and insightful and something I looked forward to every week.

Love the whole course and I have been coming back to it ever since I first checked it out two or three years ago. It helps as a reminder that happiness and my own well-being are things I have under my control, although my brain tends to be somewhat unhelpful at times. ;) Can highly recommend that course to everyone who wants to understand more about their own well-being and what they can do about it!

A very comprehensive course on very relevant topic. The course is very comprehensive. It covers all the relevant study in the field. A fantastic step by step sequencing of course. Kudos to Prof. Laurie Santos, whose cheerful disposition further convince the student on efficacy of course. The course has added value to my well being. I highly recommend this course. I thought all the presentations and lectures were informative and enjoyable and the course work was fun and rewarding. The things I learned were so valuable and I as I was taking the class I wanted my whole family to sit down and take it along with me. That didn't happen but I hope to someday share with them all the things I learned as they see my utilize my new skills!

I found this course engaging and enlightening. I started the course whilst in lockdown and found the focus on Rewirements the perfect way to maintain and subsequently increase my happiness scores at a stressful time in my life. Never too late or old to take this life changing course. This course changed my attitude towards the pursuit of real happiness which does not necessarily involve acquiring more wealth. Spiritual, physical and mental health are very important for well-being. Really enjoyed various rewiring assignments. Excellent instructor & guest lecturers who shared rewiring techniques. Highly recommend the course.

Excellent course. Unfortunately like with many other subjects this is the kind of course that would be so much more substantive and meaningful for the student as a live in person course. That said, the course held up well given the limitations of teh virtual classroom - kudos also to Coursera for keeping all the backgorund elements working flawlessly and invisible to the user. I love it. The theories and data are impressive and very well explained but I can't wait to start my 4 week rewirement commitment. I will work hard to make it happen. See you on the other side :)

Four weeks after I can say that I am still very impressed but mostly grateful to this course. I'll do my best to keep up with the work and find new strategies to make every day of my life a bit happier.

Great class that really pushes you to understand why and what is truly important in life. As someone in their early 50s, I've already lived life enough to know most of this (plus, I'm not a materialist individual) However, to get the stats and details behind it + take the tests to better understand my strengths was invaluable. I believe anyone can benefit from this class and it's worth completing.

This was a great course taught by smart, engaging and funny Professor Laurie Santos. We learned about the different scientific psychological studies that have been done about well-being and happiness. We also had to practice some of the tools and mind rewirements to help us understand how to have more joy and well-being in our lives. I feel very enriched and fulfilled from this experience. Thank you!

This is a great first step in the path to greater joy. I highly recommend taking the course, but also living it. Finding the life that’s right for you takes some work and likely requires some uncomfortable reflection. I had to make a hard decision or two to find my happiness, as well. Stick with it. Random people comment on how much happier I seem without even knowing about the course. It’s amazing.

Great course, but I wouldn't even call it that, it is so much more! It is a lesson in well-being, a life coach if you will.

The teacher is very engaging, the materials are enjoyable and easy to go through, the assignments are accessible and the overall experience is a very positive one. No wonder that my tested happiness scores have increased since taking and commiting to this rewirement journey!

I found this course to be so helpful when it comes to looking at well-being, the ways it can be affecting and the strategies you can put in place to improve your own well-being. I know that my own happiness has improve since taking the course. I really appreciate how the course flowed, setting up questions and answering them in-depth allowed me to fully grasp the concepts that were being discussed.

This is a well-structured, timely, and impactful course that details the obstacles we face on the road to achieving happiness and, more importantly, how to overcome them.
