Hi everybody. I'd just like to address one of the, concerns that I've read about in the forum, and the forums, about people feeling overwhelmed by the amount of coursework. It's important to remember that this course was designed in a way. In order for you to absorb the information at your own page, on your own time and for example the course is going to stay open for about three week back to that, that the actual week for ending of the course. And that and that, so you should really just concern yourself with learning at your own pace. And for example, whether you get 51% or whether you get 99%, you're going to get the same certificate of, of completion anyway. >> Statement of accomplishment. >> Statement of accomplishment, sorry. And so yeah, enjoy yourselves and learn something and by all means take part in the forums because I know I've learned a lot just from reading people's comments and just it's been a really eye opening experience for me as well. So Angela, you want to jump in? >> Yeah, no. Absolutely. Thank you. I mean, I think that there's a greater purpose to this course. Right? It's not just about what your personal mark is but it's about the material that you're interacting with. You know, we've seen a lot of people on the forums saying that this is some of the, like, this is the first time that they have been encountering this material. That they are questioning their own stereotypes. They're going back through their past thinking about those moments in their history where, you know, they've personally maybe heard racism and not spoken up about it or maybe. You know, where they first became aware of, of issues, that again, their only getting that chance really now to explore. So, in terms of what's happening at this moment in history, we're hoping that this contributes, and your knowledge for at this time, and contributes to a greater reconciliation movement, right, and a greater movement to build relationships between peoples of different identities and communities of different identities which is very important. I mean, the[UNKNOWN] movement has on global and I, I think it deserves all of our attention and, and maybe one thing that you can think of, but this is just very personal on my part, I, maybe one of the things that you might want to think about going forward from the course is, you know, do you think there are changes that need to be made? If so, how can you, from your different locations, identify? Sorry, contribute. Right? Are you writing letters? >> Are you showing up to things? Like, I don't know. You know? What are the different ideas that are out there? Brendon, jump in, save me on this one. >> Yeah, yeah. Write in to your MPs, and trying to put some of the issues that I know everybody's been talking about in the forums on the, the, so they're not ignored by politicians. So it's, it's not silenced by the general media. If you think about it, there's 21,000 people taking this course. So it's like everybody in the Air Canada Center is talking to each other, just to put a loose metaphor out there. >> It's[inaudible][crosstalk] >> And can I[INAUDIBLE] really quickly. [crosstalk] Yeah, I'll. >> All sorts of people from different. >> Sorry. >> Walks of life are, are contributing. And I think what's, what's going on in the forums is probably, one of the most enriching experiences I've had as a student. >> Yeah. >> And definitely as a TA. Angela. >> Sorry. I, I certainly Interrupted you earlier I just wanted to jump in quickly just to get some contextual sort of information so, when Brandon said MP he meant member of parliament and that's a very Canadian, political position so in other countries you know, maybe it'll be your congress person or. However else your country you know, organizes their. >> Candidate. >> Government. The other thing is the Air Canada center is one of the biggest sports arenas in Toronto. It holds a lot of people. That's where the Toronto Maple Leafs play. So yes, Brendan, awesome. Just a few, just few things. Okay. How much time do we have left here. Oh boy, we've got about 20 seconds. So I think we're going to stop this video, and ... >> And we'll talk to you in the next video. >> Yes. Take care. Okay.
