Hi. I want to talk to you about this next unit, which is called Orienting the Learner with Jenny Chrisner. Ordering the learner is really important. They need to know what you expect from them, and how the clinical setting works. And so that's what we're going to learn in this next segment. Let me talk to you a little bit about what the, the format is. First thing we're going to do is, is talk about the model for orienting the learner. It's going to tell you what you need to include in your orientation, and help you kind of frame what you're going to do with your learner when they first come. The next, we're going to have some of our learners tell us what was good and bad about orienting the learner and their clinical setting. Then we're going to see some orientations, and you're going to tell us what was good and bad about each of those. Through all of this, I'm going to ask you to discuss each time, what is important for orienting the learner in your setting. What do you think is particularly important? How are you going to do it? It's that how, what, when, where, and why. So that you can think what the best way to bring the learner into your setting so that they can function optimally when you're teaching them. All right? So let's get started.
