Hello, in this video, I'll show you example slides for deliverables five and six for the CFO track, the SWOT analysis and Email. I'll also walk you through the feedback process, so you can help your peers improve their work for the final capstone portfolio. Let's start with an example of deliverable 5, the SWOT analysis. What's your first impression? By now, you've learned, I'm a very visual person, so of course, my first reaction is, what is this blue thing doing here? But aside from that, I thought, this slide was very clean and easy to read, I like it. Let's go to the rubric, our first job, as you know by now, is to affirm the learner created a SWOT analysis. Yes, we can see that, the next question is, were you able to follow the points that were made on the analysis slide? What questions do you have? Yes, it was easy to follow, and I don't have any questions. What were some of the most interesting points the learner made? I thought the point about the lack of scarcity here affecting demand was an important point to consider. However, if the product is sold only in Wanda's boutiques, that may sound like potential threat. Do you think the conclusions, the learner made will be useful to the team? Yes, I do. Did you notice anything interesting yourself that you'd like to point out to the learner? Yeah, actually, I did have a couple of comments I wanted Potential threats could include competition, especially now the product is being sold to customers. Another potential threat is, where are you sourcing botanical oils? Threats to farming could include, the weather, or pests. As for the weaknesses, the location of the boutique may be one weakness. If you're limited to a neighborhood, instead of, for example, a central retail location, your customer base is limited. To see the kind of feedback I actually wrote for this assignment, take a look at the peer review assignment to see that in more detail. Now let's move on to deliverable 6, the Email, let's do a quick read of the email. Hello, Jomaya and Isa, I've attached the SWOT analysis for the youth essence launch for your review. My analysis shows leads, whoops, that's a mistake here, shows leads me to believe, we have two verbs here, I'll have to remember that, for the feedback. Leads me to believe one possible threat exists, since we never sold this product before even though it was in high demand. It's possible that the product's availability will make it less desirable. Let me know if something is unclear, until then, Jomara. Okay, let's go to the Rubric. First things first, affirm whether the learner uploaded an email, yes they did. Did the learner write an email with a clear purpose? Let's take a look. Yes, right here, the first line indicates the purpose of the email. Did the learner write an email with a clear subject line? Let's take a look, Yes, yes, and it's very specific and purposeful, I like it. Did the learner write an email with a summary statement about the SWOT analysis? Yes, the second paragraph includes a summary analysis. Did the learner write an email using an easy to read format that uses white space and/or bullets? Yes, I think so, they didn't use bullets, but I don't think bullets were really necessary in this case. The writer used short paragraphs, except for where it's needed for the analysis summary, and even that paragraph is pretty short. Hey But I just noticed that the email is to Jomaya and Isa. But it's written by Jomara and the to-line says Isa and Juanita. I better mention that in my comments. Did the learner write an email using appropriate tone for the business? Yes, I think so, overall, I think it's appropriate tone, I don't really like this so much. It's a personal preference, but it presumes any questions the reader has are the writer's fault, because he or she has written something unclearly. It sounds a little insecure, it's a little, it puts you in the defensive position, so, I will make sure to offer some feedback on that. If you would like to see what I actually wrote, for feedback, take a look at the peer review for this assignment and you can see that in more detail. And there you have it, an example of what you can do for deliverables 5 and 6 for the CFO track, and a model of the kind of feedback you can give each other. Good luck, and remember, helpful feedback is priceless.
