Dean’s Master’s Scholarship for Online Students

The Dean’s Master’s Scholarship aims to offer financial assistance to online Master's students to promote the University's objective of attracting academically talented students who contribute to a thriving student community. These students are expected to advance the school's mission of scholarship, teaching, and research for the betterment of society. Each scholarship applicant will be evaluated based on their unique qualifications. Additionally, during the selection process, special attention will be given to applicants' socioeconomic and educational backgrounds, as well as their dedication to fostering an inclusive student body aligned with the school's goals.

Tuition

  • 2024–2025 Academic Year Costs*

    • Tuition: $3,500 per course unit

    • Online Services Fees: $156 per course unit

    • *Tuition and fees are posted as a guide and will be adjusted on a yearly basis.

      **Half Credit Courses are billed at half tuition and half fees.

Eligibility

  • Students will be eligible to apply for a scholarship only at the time of application during the early application period only. 

  • This opportunity is available to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.

  • Recipients of the Dean’s Master’s Scholarship will receive funding so long as they maintain a 2.7 cumulative GPA.

How to Apply

  • The application for the Dean’s Master’s Scholarship is embedded within the MCIT Online application.

  • Submit your completed application for Penn Engineering Online. Those interested in the Dean’s Master’s Scholarship will be required to apply for the Early Application period.

  • Any application that is incomplete at the deadline will not be eligible for scholarship consideration.
