About the Course

In this anatomy course, part of the Anatomy Specialization, you will learn how the components of the integumentary system help protect our body (epidermis, dermis, hair, nails, and glands), and how the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, and skeletal muscles) protects and allows the body to move. You will engage with fascinating videos, lectures, and anatomical visual materials (illustrations and cadaveric images) to learn about these properties and functions....

I am very pleased with the initial course in this specialization. The four-week duration is perfect for the amount of weekly hours I could put in. I expect to start the next course right away.

The depth needs to be increased exponentially. Each topic is covered very superficially, and it leaves a lot upto the individual's initiative to study from other online sites or books to learn more. Morever, the quizzes at the end of each section are extremely easy and do not test knowledge or understanding in any meaningful manner.

1- there are some questions in the quizzes that aren't mentioned in the lectures.

2- i don't know if there are recommended textbooks or not.

I give two stars, since this course had no direct learning friendly structure, it was mostly a pure summation of words and no real visual learings. If you just google some joint or muscle on youtube you will find great animation and better explaination then this course. I wonder how people learn knowledge and not just information from this course.

Maybe 25h are not enough to go though anantomy. This I understand but why not the main concepts were described, but really highly detailed things I do not understand. Give the principes and the basics in the first 10 hours and let people learn the muscles with a map and many quizzes, then focus again on some parts for the future!

Still, I finished and now know more words of my body

Each segment cuts out and it isn't the quality I am used to for a university instruction.
